I will give u props on the art even though the style isn't to my liking, but that story was utter horse shit my man. Whos ever heard of so many Japanese black people(I havn't even hear of one) living in an ancient Japan setting. Back in those days they were in slavery pickin some cotton for the white folk. This was a major rip off the Wu-Tang clan comic book, which pretty much sucked itself.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion, as off as it is, but, first of all, Tear, these black people aren't Japanese. Step out of your current thinking and play a little catch-up. This isn't "back in those days". this isn't there. No radios or Hip-Hop back then, so that should have been a tip-off. I thought that was kind of obvious.
Two, Iceberg Slick developed the Jamurai concept at least 4 years ago, when we first met up and the first Ripper comic story came out in 1999 (go to our website, buy the first book and you'll see).
We saw the Wu book when it came out, and we agree with you, it sucked. But I have to say, when that book came out, folks who bought it told us they liked our stuff better, and no one thought they felt the slightest bit alike.
Oh, and a last bit of education, "in those days" most blacks were in Africa minding there own business.
