Reviews for "NGBG: Grime vs Sqeezy"

The first better than the second

You want to know why? First it got a better presentation, and the "story" is well showed, and this is a quick fight, in the second the presentation could be good but it result by a stupid fight like : i kick you, you kick me... but making them hiting with the music is cool...

So 5 for all because of the second fight.

wait

we used the same music from the 2nd battle in our demonstration at tkd where did u get hat song?

it all comes down to the reason

Luis's character, The Grime, wins. Why? Both were great battles, but Tim's version was only that, a battle. Luis's version, on the other hand, was a story first and a battle second. It all comes down to the reason they are fighting. In Luis's version, we are given a clever reason for The Grime's actions, and a beginning, middle, and end to a nice little story. In Tim's version, we were simply dropped into a fight. I enjoyed that fight, though; nice clapping monkey, Tim...hehe.

not bad man

good flash cartoon your animation was great

Good

Overall, these were both very good entries. Luis obviously worked a lot longer and harder on his entry, thus the better animation and grpahics throughout. Ilike the idea of a cleaner superhero who travels through drain/sewer pipes to reach his destination. The fight itself was a little short, and very one sided, but enjoyuable none the less.

Sqeezy's entry ran a little longer, and had a little back and forth between the fighters, with Sqeezy coming out on top naturally. There wasn't as much animation here though, especially when there was lots of interstitial shots of them just punching and kicking each other. Was still enjoyable though.

Overall, I like the idea behind this Battleground concept, and hope more are produced in the future. The idea behind both authors getting to make their own movie showing their character win is better than having both work on one entry and then have to argue over who should come out on top.
