Just because I have some criticism to offer means I'm an illiterate bastard does it? It IS possible to offer criticism about this movie and not be an "FF Hater" (Foxinator) or a "Retarded nerd" (Cries)
Look, I gave it a 2 - because it IS nothing too new or interesting. The concept is ok but it's the 7TH one! Plus there seems to be a glut of sprite movies on newgrounds at the moment...
The storyline was ok, but you could have done a lot more with the sprites rather than just have them walk slowly around, and engage in repetitive swordplay, and the occaisonal spell. Take a look at Randy Solem's sprite work for instance - his work with sprites is very good - and he even creates new sprites if he needs to illustrate a particular action.
Don't get me wrong, I like Final Fantasy, but
I don't really think this should be on the front page - I can appreciate that a lot of effort went into this, but I think you need to find something new to do HAcoreRD, or you'll never truly improve. Why not try some new FF concept, or maybe even something completely different. In any case it's up to you.
