Reviews for "Ozymandias"

Hmm...

I don't think the approach in the movie does justice to the poem. It just didn't seem to flow right. This problem does crop up when one tries to adapt or work with something created by a master -- sometimes it seems whatever you do just doesn't seem to work out. I'd encourage you to keep trying, but to develop your technical and storytelling skills before diving into something this challenging.

Not bad!

This is a wonderful poem, and if I had seen this when doing my A-Levels it would have made it seem much more powerful and awe inspiring.

I've graded it at a 6 because I didn't really think much of the animation style, but this is something that can be easily worked on. I like the idea of laying it out as a film.

The final frame was very well done, and quite true to the poem indeed 'Look upon my works ye mighty and despair'. I laugh at the uneducated fools who rate this badly because there's not enough blood and tits for them.

Well made!

Not bad.

"Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert... Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies..."

Love the poem. Liked the movie. Good to see that NG has some "culture." A decent job, except you overlooked the fact that Ozimandias' statue stood in a desert rather than a Scottish moor. Other than that, excellent.

looking forward to the next one

you do know, however, that ozzymadias is a missinterpretation of the name of the egyptian pharaoh rameses, not some medieval warlord.

that was good

I liked that it looks like its gonna be really cool. loved the music from 28 days later, its one of me favorite movie musics
