Reviews for "[BB g-R]"

Hell Yeah!

I've been trying to master a beat similar to this for a while and you nailed it. Damn you! Lol, great job though. This is one of the best songs on NG I think. The synth that started at :34 was the best part. Great song!!!

I don't know if this is your last song or not, but I feel obligated to review it, it's just that good. I think you know that too, since it's at Score Rank #1. And thankfully, I'm not going to bring it down.

Your intro, like always, is the best constructed part of your songs. It starts gradual, and you think your going into a slow piece of trance just when some wierd ass drums and this sick sounding synth come in. At this point, you already know it's either make it or break it with this song, because it's going to be something you never heard before. As for your intro in general, it's excellent because of the way it just kicks in, which in my opinion, is a huge gamble with a song, but you know how to play the cards.

Later on, the wierd drums keep the beat going. At this point, I'd like to make a comment on the drums. Your drums are really unique and something you won't find in mainstream music, or even underground music! It's probably the first time I heard such a simple and overused synth mixed with the most alien drums. In theory it sounds like crap, but wyhen you put it into music, it just sounds perfect.

The ocasional beep/siren that makes itself heard throughout the intro adds a different feel to the song then if the main synthesizer were playing alone. You always were an expert at layering multiple synths on top of each other, each layer creating a new song. It's as if you were peeling an onion to find an apple with a coconut seed inside the apple. Really varying synthesizers working with each other to make for a great combination.

Anyway, after the intro, the drums continue the way they were (and do throughout most of the song, good decision by the way). The main synth sounds really raw, something you would hear in the backgroung of a movie or game. But the sirens and drums make it to busy to just be background noise. You know you're in for a real song when you hear that many synthesizers. I like the way you make surprises in the song, similar to the intro. At 1:15 you think you're going to gradually hear the song fade away to nothing, but only to have music blast your ears again. Later, the song transits to what it was before, with some to many variances.

As for the main melody, it's really a catchy tune that has it's own unique bursts, if you know what I mean. Parts like 00:34, you know?

Your comment about not making anymore music really upsetted me, because you can't get stuff like this from F-777, Envy, or Paragon. You're one of a kind. Now it seems like you are making music, so I really look forward to your future releases. Get inspiration.

5/5.

Will download when I return to America. Thank you for your music. P.S. I look forward to another DnB.
