Now here is a little history lession
As it turned out, back in those days, when sailors would spend along time out on the sea (months, years ect) they would get a form of insanity, call ocean madness (or I think that's what it was called) and they would see things that weren't really there. Henceforth, the Mermaid was created by either drunken or half mad sailors, and under these conditions they would look at seals and manetees and see them as beautiful maidens of the sea.
Columbus once set out to see these legendary beautys of the sea once. And when he found them. He didn't have much to say, except that they were the ugliest women he has ever seen. So in other words, you got a little history lesson here.
And another thing, you could see ther mermaids nipples, you just didn't look hard enough.
As for the movie. Ahhh, it was okay.. I was more intreaged with the fact that they use this as a movie.....
