Okami is my favorite game,
and you've done an amazing job on making Amaterasu have a very realistic feel. I honestly can't find any flaws, but the only thing that bothers me, is the low detail background, which is the reason for the score of 9. Other than that, this is superb. Excellent work, my friend.
You're right, the background is quite bland. I've added more of a textured feel to it now, hopefully that looks better :) Thank you!

I've seen two amazing Amaterasu-Okami drawings that are realistic. And one of them is yours. What's great about this one, is that it is just as good as the other one I've seen, but it is also a different representation of Ammy. The other one was of his fierce side, using dark brush colors, while this one is very light and colorful, and you can see the smile on Ammy's face.

Nice! Love the look of glee on the Okami's face. However, I don't like the fire. It looks corny and disconnected like it was edited in as an afterthought.
