I thought the "flying through the crimson door" ought to have been timed to that particular occurence, also the "nebula calls out me" would have --if played representationally-- been at a distant and far removed sector of space from our own. Thus, fleeing OUR solar system MAY have been a "stellar" move. The ending was excellent though, and would also work just as well with the other suggestions intact. Awesome!
