This isn't a photo. Or at least if nothing else, it's a photo of the art the artist is showing. The images are drawn in acrylic. It's truly amazing work.
If it is a photo of drawings, it's most likely because it's not easy to scan multiple canvases. But I'm fairly certain it's one single canvas with frames drawn into it.
Any time someone comments that photos are not allowed on a site, you know you've drawn a damn good picture.

But seriously, these are really well painted. Acrylic can be really challenging because it dries so quickly. Did you use any medium to help extend drying time?
Also, who is this puzzle-piece portrait of? It's very impressive for you to be doing this level of artwork at A-level. You'll be well ahead of your peers when you move on to foundation/BA.

Didn't use anything to make it dry quicker, just plain old acrylic. This was done two years ago now, but I haven't gone on to do art at university - it's become more of a hobby.

This is pretty damn awesome. I usually don't like photorealism - but you have managed to shine a poetic light upon your subject. It's quite excellent in my opinion :)

I'm not sure it's a photo. The artist said Acrylic on canvas in his comments section, that would suggest he painted it with acrylic paint. Which means that the realism is awesome and took a lot of talent/ skill
