this game kicks ass!
i really liked this game,i played it for 2 hours(it took me a while to perfect my stratigy)until finally i whomped on that pussy of a boss.the only things that this is missing is a good plot,and i think it would be better with more ships, and the option of being a bounty hunter.all and all i really liked this one,its the best ive played on newgrounds(oh and addictive is an understatment).make another one !

the game is very good but i found it to be way too easy, i mean all u gotta do is start out with guns then kill 1 group of ships then go back and borrow $1000 alot of times, buy a ship, some guns then attack! its that easy, im just too lazy to do it without cheating hehehe...

Great Game! Though it is overy hard! I never get very far on it but I love to play it, despite restarting many times only to go broke in less than an hour, or to be destroyed. You should add a selectible difficulty level, so this game could appeal to crappy players such as myself, and hardcore players. You could also add more beggining options. But what would make the game best is if you could make several "fighter class" ships, with lots of guns and armor but very little cargo space. Though i find it incredibly hard and have come nowhere near coming close to beating it, it is my favorite game on Newgrounds.

Wow that was fun but once I got the class-b freighter and 30 quad guns (with like 100 billion credits to spare) the pirate battles were easy and I finished off the pirate boss whatsisname in five rounds.
