Reviews for "Take Me Across"

Sonic anyone...?

For some reason it really reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Adventure DX more specifically) Not sure why ..hmmm... saying that, I really like it! Easy to listen to and doesn't sound to complicated or overwhelming, everything fits nicely. Awesome ^_^

shadowmana responds:

That's a new one actually. Weird enough, people say it reminds them of Maple Story a lot, but hey, glad to see new people have new views on it.

Thanks for the support!

Liked it a lot.

I did. It just seemed a little empty. Very repetetive nearing the later middle/end, to me. If you were to mix it a little, and add in something, I think it could be a lot better.

Sorry, not that great at the criticism, but you get my point?

shadowmana responds:

Oh yes, I do relieze it's a bit repetitive at some points. I attempted to change it a bit without throwing the song way out of tune or off course (which I did multiple times during the making of).

Thanks though, I'll remember that in the future!

Love it.

Congrats on being the first non-video game song from the Audio Portal on my iTunes.

10/10, 5/5.

shadowmana responds:

haha thank you very much! I'm glad I get to be on someone's iTunes like that.

I dig it man

I really enjoy the song alot. I dig what you are trying to do in the beginning but I feel like it's missing a little extra effect to really sell the whole "old radio" feeling you are going for.

Possibly some added record scratch and pops? Just an idea.

But it's got a great groove to it so rock on man.

shadowmana responds:

Weird, because as I was reading your review, I was thinking you were going to suggest pops and scratches. Then I read on to see you did.

Thanks for the suggestion!

nice song

i like the bass line, but in the start it sounds robotic,
not cool
keep up the good work

shadowmana responds:

The beginning is suppose to replicate a scratchy radio recording, like a classic boom box of sorts. Then it explodes into sound.

Part of the song, but thanks for the compliment.
