Laughing at the expense of a hero...
I wouldn't call myself uptight; I do enjoy a good laugh and I browse NG frequently, but I'm afraid that this movie crosses the line. It defiles the memory of a historical hero and leader, Mahatma Ghandi. If you have no reservations about mocking the people who shaped the world you live in today for the better, click away. Incase you have any dignity, I would turn back now.

Well, thanks you for your comments, DSKLupin, but the humor is not targeted at Gandhi (or, as you call him, "Ghandi,") but was aimed at icebox, who featured "hip" racism and attacks on Abraham Lincoln. Our response was, "What's next? Mahatma Gandhi as a sex pervert?"
Not that we care about icebox's content or are prudes--it's just that this idea spring out of that.
