Have you seen other submissions on the art portal? I've seen others that can come close to the caliber you are capable of but you are just lightyears ahead of most people here. I look at some of your submissions and when I turn around and seen your responses to fans of your work... you can stand to have some bragging rights. So long as true artist keep their sense of modesty and humility, your works will just keep getting better.
Science fiction always had a soft spot in my heart. If only you would be able to create a delicate piece of work with all the sublime wonder and dreamy facination of old mythology. The halo franchise is one perfect example. The trick here is to take away corky geek cliches while making the entire concept as timeless as archeotypes we all are born with in our psyche. You never had any problem with the old schoolstyle fantasy genre but its totally possible to take it in the opposite direction into the future. I always wondered... what would their gods, heros and demons would be like.

Your work is great, the line are blurred where the eyes initially don' t focus which makes the whole work really imprint on the mind as it is detailed where the audience looks first and muzzled in other places. Plus, your line are nice and fat in which is pretty for single pictures like these, however, thinner lines commits you to greater detail as well. Just something to consider.
