M'eh...being a christian...

I didn't find it too funny. Still...I guess the game's supposed to be a joke...

I was always wondering "what if they made a video game out of the Passion of the Christ" ever since I saw some cartoon at Cagle.com (see below)... Obviously such an idea would be ludicrous... but I knew it was either going to be something like THIS game or a game where Jesus brakes away from the cross and ravages Jerusalem with heat vision and other superhero powers (AKA Grand Theft Auto, 33AD meets Superman).

WTF was this!?

I know it's a joke, but not a fun joke at all! You make a game, where Jesus is whipped? Do you not know that because of his blood, your ass, and everyone else will with him in paradise if you believe that he is the Son of God!? Well, this thing really pissed me off. I'd suggest you to pray to God, and ask him for forgivness, because this is a piece of shit!

keep your humor to yourself about jesus. there is alot of christians out there that don't appreciate that kind of humor. like me for example. that was disrespectful and racisim to our christianity. how would you like it if i created that critisized your religion? or if you even had one! not cool at all!

I'm not going to flame you for what you did, but you should think about it...

Jesus, somehow saved us by following God's will. If you don't know why, read the Bible. I think it's my duty to tell you that this game not only offends religious people, it disturbs those (like me) who really felt Jesus' suffering in the movie. I don't know what to say, but like Jesus once said: "Father, forgive them... They don't know what they're doing..."

I'm telling you this in the best possible way, I just watched the movie and felt the need to get my conscience clear.

Oh, by the way... you feeling the need to "get your conscience clear" is about the most selfish thing you could do in a review of a movie you don't like. Your review isn't for my benefit, but yours... to make yourself feel better. Well, I have to say that stinks.

And I have one suggestion for you:
Don't watch things that offend you. This movie was clearly labled as "pissing people off." You should have known better!

It's like the issue with the Religious Right and Howard Stern right now... You don't like it, DON'T FUCKING LISTEN. DON'T WATCH. It's that simple. There are plenty of people who enjoyed this "game," just take a look at the reviews if you don't believe me. It's for them, not you.

Just like Newgrounds is for them, NOT YOU. Do you realise this site was founded on cartoons that showed SATANIC teletubby characters smoking pot and people fucking sheep? So why are you trolling around berating cartoons just because you disagree with them? Try being objective in your reviews. Or better yet, go watch the goddamned 700 Club or something and stay off of Newgrounds.
