Fairytales for grownups.
This is probably the most accessable of Noise Rover's stuff on Newgrounds. It is definitely lighter than The Undead or Comfort, but still absurd, whimsical, and fantastical. It is also the most fun to watch.
I don't know if it is careful thought or gut instinct that guides NR, but the result is always a gem. Here, the king and his servants are supremely pompous, despite being only a couple of inches tall. Having the king hide behind a mask is a great touch. Despite being so arrogant, he is an ineffectual and illegitimate authority.
I hope NR gives us more of his work. Just having three here is very frustrating.

I'm actually a bit shocked at how good this is.
I just watched your other 2 movies and there is no question that you are one of the best artists at NG. Also one of the most sophisticated. This is professional quality work all around. Reminds me a bit of some of the early French artists in old Heavy Metal magazines.
The story, dialogue and timing are top notch.
I rarely give a 9 in a review. This deserves it. I also voted 5 and added you to my favorite artists list.
