It holds great promise...
Now, I know I'm not the first person to do a step-by-step review here, but it's a good idea, so I'll borrow it for this.
Plot: a decent amount of thought and backstory seems to have gone into this. Shows promise for a first-chapter movie.
Characters: somewhat cliche, but I'm not complaining. At least there aren't any "perfect heros" jumping around in this story.
Artwork: Backgrounds look like they're rounded a bit too much, and need a little more detail. Characters are good, however. Animation and framerates are a little rough, but, then, again, I have a slow computer, so it might be just me.
Sound: The music selections for this are good, but nothing stands out too much. The voiceacting seems decent, but the character voice volumes need to be balanced out somewhat. I had a hard time understanding the girl.
Overall, this looks like a decent production that has the earmarks of a quality work. Just keep refining your style, work on file compression some, and this will turn out great.
