I just started learning flash, so the newbie tutorials are really helpful for me. Do you know of any other good (free) web resources I could check into for more tutorials?

Good job, but it's already been done
It's done well, although without being aesthetically soothing :). And it doesn't have music in the background, but the main problem is that someone already did it.

Yea, after i submitted it i searched for "Preload Tutorial" and i saw the one i think you're talking about. Mine is more simplistic though..i think..
this was fine....
but you need a button tutorial. we shouldn't have to click on only the letters of the button. please define your hit areas with buttons.
