Poor lil' Flash file. Just goes to show that Newgrounds does it's part to protect all the lil' Flash files that need a home...

I have to say that I like the older flash icon better (the one Dini put in his version), but what you did with this guy is great. I mean... a homeless flash, sleeping on park benches... urinating against buildings... rummaging in trash dumpsters... about to take his own life...
but then rescued by the homeless shelter that is the NG community... GREAT idea, and you pulled it off well.
I think the "for better or worse" part of the final message, though, kinda undercuts the... sweetness, I guess... of the rest of the flash. I mean, every movie we protect should be for BETTER, it's just that some are far better than others. #;-}>
I liked it, and it'd be great if you could choose which movie you wanted to have displayed when you get the final save in your GG menu preferences or something (and if there's ever a new blammed movie, it could be an option as well to go with new or old). But no matter what, it's nifty to have this on the portal.
Whoever gets Dini's animation for being the 200th vote... after watching this alternative Saviour/Protection flash... is probably going to be really confused that it's a different flash playing. #;-}>

Ya, I like flash 5 .swf better, but I thought I'd go with the MX icon, didn't want people to think NG was to behind the times =P .
The message I had chose with care, as not all flashes on NG SHOULD be protected. Something for users to think about >;).
As I had said with the review before yours, if not a "Void 2" type .swf, then a random "showing" would be coo, from my point of view at least =D.

Maybe Tom can see fit to use both on an alteranting basis, like when you look at a deleted flash location and you can see up to 6 or 8 different bloody swf file men.
Just a thought cuz both are great.

Heh, after I had emailed Tom this, I was thinking along the same lines, but as a single .swf with mutiple/random things happening, not unlike "The Void 2" .
I'm sure if they see this fit liljim could hook it up, won't cross my fingers though ...
