Reviews for "Howard Dean Alarm DVD"
Loved the original, the DVD version is even better
but... there's one major problem with it. Lack of links. In the picture section, for instance, instead of it being a slideshow we have no control over... perhaps NEXT buttons would help? We could go faster or slower, whichever we wanted. Also, there seems to be certain places within the flash (like at the end of the main alarm bit) where you can't get back to the main menu without refreshing the flash, and then you have to sit through the THX-ish thing again. Ehhh. Minor quibbles.
The main reason this is an improvement over your original alarm flash is the addition of the original speech segment. You clipped out the "New Hampshire, South Carolina, etc. etc." part, and just started with California, but all right. #;-}>
The actual commercial for the Howard Dean Alarm is freakin' hilarious, especially when his repeated "YEAAAAAAGH!"s are paired with the camera zooming in on his forehead or mouth or wherever. Great, great, funny stuff there. #;-}>
