Very helpful but 1 question..

My character can't pick up the ball i made o-o when you say "Go to the movieclip item and put this actionscript in it's menu" do you put that code into the menu on the ball? my character just walks right over the ball

When I right click The stickman (My character) I go to actions
and stuff BUT it says current selection cannot have actions applied to it PM me and help please someone!

(I use Flash CS3) with actionscript 3

Question

It is nice and clear tutorial, but what will happen if you will copy ground many times, or make more complicated ground, or if you want make many characters ( for example enemys ), work with character and ground,
When I make gravitacion work and ground work, if I will copy ground, copy will not work ?
