Pretty good overall.
I dislike the lack of power behind the first section of this song, which is what screws it up for most remixes. However, the rest of the song itself is superb, giving it the true feel of a remix. Id say, with a cleaner and heavier beat for the intro as the song is true to, and with general chime/drum mastery, you could have the best remix on the portal.

Browsing through the NG archives for this song and I have to say, this is one of the better ones. It has a kickass beat to start with, and you've added a nice touch to it. Although at the beginning, when the beat drops, it feels kind of empty. What a shame tbh, but other than that, a job well done.

Mystic Quest had easily the most heated music of the Final Fantasy games. The composer for this game also composed things for Rudra no Hihou, ALSO on the snes, and pretty damn epic. I have a pretty crappy arrangement of the battle theme on my page.
