The style and the music is really great. You should try to find one of Vincent Price's readings of the poem... it would really help the overall piece. Good work though.

First off, Dude, Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. Both Lanore and the nartor look like characters from the movie.
I agree with penultimate_lifeform review. The reading was horable and realy did not fit well with the animation. You could have done a lot of improvements.
I though, after several readings of the poem now, I have almost come to believe that is never scared, unlike the Simpson's hallowen special version. He may be startled at first when he is aroused. Though I don't all agree with him being amused of the vistors presence. I kinda see it as if a raven would have barged in to my house, especialy being couped up in a house with just my self pity and the lost of a love. I see more of the characters thoughts of being "What the hell are doing here?" and "Get the hell out!"
The rude bird will not leave, his anoince grows at the bringer of bad omens, his anoince leads to anger and this causes him to have a mental breakdown by mixing with his sorrow. Which leaves a witherd old man who is severaly depressed and now parnoid pscyophrinc...he loses his will to even stay couped up in his house. He ends up blameing all the problems in his life on a bird that might truley not be there and just used to give charchter to the darkness in his life.
