My God, that was AMAZING!
I can't put it any more plainly. I loved this. Not just liked it, LOVED it. And do you know how many remixes of Schala's theme I've heard? More than I can count, and let me say, none, NONE, have moved me in the way your version has.
Very nice piece
I rarely sit through the whole of a piece over 5 minutes - Why? They end up bore me. But yours kept me listening, primarily because of the piano piece. Very beautiful. In general good use of instruments. As I saw mentioned earlier too, however, some of the instruments have ended up sounding a bit "synthy." Thus the 9. But great job, indeed ;)

Eh. I did as much as I could to avoid as much of the synthiness as possible, I suppose it's hard to get rid of :p
Game music.
Although I'm not a big fan of the synth sax (snoballnthmonyshot is the NG sax hero), the piano work is fantastic.
The mood is very stable; not hopeful, not helpless, with only small undertones of heroism, which must define the character or the situation your character is in.
In my own head I got the sense of someone trying to rise up out of the gutters.
Well made even if it isn't in my taste. It's just that damn sax.
