one problem how do you get the player to shoot and when it hits enemy 5 times it explodes!

To explain how to make it shoot takes to much time. But if you want your player (for example) explode when you hit the enemy 5 times. Just make a hittest and let it go to the next frame and put in the explosion after 5 frame. I hope you inderstand all this.

When I put in the action script for the enemy it just moved and stoped an didnt follow the player

I remember watching this a year or so ago, it helped me a LOT... I never really bothered to write a review for it though...
I liked the stickman putting up stuff, made me smile
While this is kind of old and outdated for the people with the newer versions of flash its still good a damn good reference in case you've gotten rusty or for a noob (*points to self*) to gain the ropes on what they could make into a game worth playing
I still havn't managed to get that "explode when it makes contact with the enemy" thing right... it just loops the explosion over and over without even needing to touch it... but still, this a classic, and is what made me try and fiddle with flash in the first place, and for that it earns my respect... 5/5 10/10
on an unrelated note: WHOEVER FINDS ME THE NAME OF THAT MUSIC GETS FREE BLOWJOBS AND PUDDING! :D
