Reviews for "The Stocking Stuffer"

Interesting.

I guess Santa thought a lump of coal wasn't very effective...
Great piece of work by the way! This is really beautiful and inspiring. I wish I could give a more detailed explanation, but I don't seem to be educated enough for that. So, I guess you'll just have to settle with what I've already said. Hope that'll do.

ImpendingRiot responds:

If it's inspiring, that makes me happy. One of the best compliments an artist can get, really.

Voted and Favorited!

It is a nice one! Like 'aneranth' said it reminds boogie from Nightmare before christmas. Also I like the christmas-lights on it. Nice Work!

PS. If it was bigger, it would now be my desktop background.

ImpendingRiot responds:

Thanks mate. I may have a larger resolution version, if you shoot me a PM I'd be more than happy to send it your way.

intreasting

honostly it reminds me of a combination bewteen 9 and boogie from the nightmare before christmas

ImpendingRiot responds:

I can see what you mean. I thought 9 was really cool visually, but the story was kind of lame. The movie would have been a lot better if it was thirty minutes shorter. Which is funny, since the movie was based off a short anyways...

My favorite christmas picture this year

I really enjoy pictures that imply an entire universe behind them. I dont have to understand what you were picturing when you created it.. the picture itself creates this tiny universe around it. I can see the world this little creature comes from and lives in by its facial expression, movement, coloring.. just the general mood of the piece that you created. great work man. Happy holidays!

ImpendingRiot responds:

Thank you, you too :)

wow...

never looked at it that way. Oh, and do you respond to all your reviews?

ImpendingRiot responds:

I make an honest effort to. With art reviews, it's a lot easier than Flash reviews. With my Flash stuff, sometimes I feel guilty responding to one and not responding to another...
