Great tutorial!
Before I saw this tutorial I nothing about sprites,but now having thos and a couple of other tuts I am now making my own movie.This tut helped the most!

good but please please help me
ok it was a good tut for me considering im a noob but when i added all the frames and finished it i tested it and he just moved across the screen in one motion without moving his body parts. overall it was good but please help me because i cant get the motion down yet.

The movieclip will only play when you do Control, Test movie, not when you play it in the editor itself.

this is a really good tutorial but heres some more adviceu should add in later tutorials. u dont hve 2 trace the bitmap but if u suk at flash its a good idea plus u can make it look cooler if u set the numbers it gives u higher. i dont remember the names so if u want better sites than the 1s on the video just google "sprites for flash" and look 4 "sprites,sprites and more sprites"
