What you need
Music first and foremost, music that is just in the background, not anything too extravagant. Get rid of the popping sound whenever the text changes, it's annoying. A plot would do good to. It's too short to be on it's own, you should have put something in the title showing that it was a part one, or a demo of something to come.

we for starters i didnt know wtf was going on, you shouldnt have stopped it there;too short.
and dont use the speech of mario so much.
but i liked the way you animated mario, that was pretty good but the rest made it bad

There was no plot at all. It was too short, so even if it had tried to develope a plot, if probably couldn't because it's too short. It seems like you didn't put enough time into this and just wanted to send it in as soon as possible. Just work on it. and you could use some more audio. keep working.
