I must admit it is not a very good animation. But, dude! It's aikido! I just started training it about a month and a half and I love it!
Personally, I think the second one is a bit better due to the "movement" you give to the character's break-falls.
Hope you polish the idea more. Give the graphics more color and even some sound (breathing, basically, would be great).
If you do anything in the end, please tell me!
