Reviews for "Dealey Plaza - Kill Sunshine"

great song

i love this song but the end is a bit of a let down you should continue the rest of the horns instead of cutting it off like finish the rest of what the other parts of the song have. anyone who might know what the hell im talking about i hope youll agree lol like it goes da da da i would have done da da da daa dum

Chr1sTh3G33k responds:

Well heres the story with the end. We thought it would be funny if we just randomly stoped on a note and everyone would be like, "umm wheres the rest of the song??" and we would all laugh...lol, oh man.

NICe job....

sounds great i never really checked out the Ska section...but urs sounds great, ut great to hear new stuff on newgrounds

Good but generic

Dont get me wrong it a really good song but to generic lyrics wise. Keep in mind i believe it a much better than other ska songs.

Woo! Ska on ng.com

This is a great song that creates the conflict of the gf and the band. Good stuff...
*d/l's and listens on iPod*

A very good opening.

But sadly, the opening is the best part (actually, the best part comes later in the song right before the end when the opening horn section is played again with some drums and bass). The song is very good... but a bit to punky (or whatever you kids call it) for my taste. It just sounded too generic in the middle, but this song almost made it to my iPod. Just not good enough, but that horn section will remain in my heart FOREVER. It reminds me of a sun set at a Caribbean beach.
All I think is that you should be a little less punky. The high distortion on the guitar sort of annoys me. Everything else is OK, though. If you guys get a record deal, I just might buy the CD... maybe. I don't know if you guys are good enough for that, yet.
Actually, after a few listens, the song gets a bit better. In summation, your band's pretty good, and most of your songs have great openings, especially this song and Screw It.

Chr1sTh3G33k responds:

I must admit that this song is one of our punkiest. But I think it turned out the best so thats why its here. Recording ska i some huys basment is hard...
