Reviews for "FFVI: The Day After Part5"

Just on question...

Where was the health to damage meters and numbers.Cause usually it's shows their health and the attack damage but you know that.Just Wondering where they were.

"Where was the health to damage meters and numbers."

In part 6 ;)

Ha ha ha

They were hitting them in the groin. That just looked funny.

The sprites were over lapping eachother.

Vinstigator responds:

I tried to copy the FFVI formula. Remember the battle Cyan had when his family got murdered? I made it exactly like that...kinda.

I agree Gaiacarkaion!

good story line...no decent action you need to make people with swords and slicing people in half and stuff MORE VIOLENCE!!!!!

Vinstigator responds:

Well I've said it before and I'll say it again. Story is my main thing and everything else is secondary. I didn't need violence or any other crap that sprite movies do to win an award. I used my story to capture the gold! Expect me to win more awards in the future, without the non-necessary violence.

Liked it.

The story is slowly reveiling itself... can't wait to see the other part. Good choices of music, and it's good to know that you're creating characters. That adds even more to the originality of the story. The battle was ok, but I've seen better. It's kinda cheap how the heroes who've beaten Kefka once get knocked-out by a soldier...

Anyway, I'm off to watch part 6.

Vinstigator responds:

Yeah Adam and Karen are characters I made up. Plus I added Bekkler and Vince as well :)

The Plot Thickens

Another solid entry in the series. The first scene was pretty much just exposition but it was handled well and it's a plot twist that I can believe (though I wouldn't have thought so). The fight scene was pretty good but I would have liked to have seen them actually wielding weapons (like in the game, the weapons appear when they attack), but that's a nit pick. You need to watch how quickly you take off the text because some of the longer lines were hard to finish in the short time they were up. More good use of music and the story's coming together nicely. Also a nice moment to end and build tension for the next episode.

Thanks for the review!
