A sad piece
Almost ALMOST made me feel all sad, I would put this in a movie or a game if I ever get the chance to make one. All I'm really saying is that this is amazing.

Strong emotions flow through this piece. Although I didn't listen to the first version, I think you made the right choice to remove most of the drums (yet the bass drum here adds spectacular ambience). I can't really offer much in the way of suggestions, because I think this is what you were aiming for. It has a powerful somber tone, with hints of heroism and honor - just what a funeral theme should emphasize. Great work.
