50 hours?
I'll be honest i only looked at this because i got a scathing review from rastor on one of my animations..
So to "Do the Monkey"
This was very boring and badly paced. The art work was ugly and the animation was stiff. The music had quite a meanacing air and the whole thing was hypnotically awfull.
Rastor if you are going to go around acting as if you are the arbiter of taste for newgrounds at least have the good grace not to be a talentless retard.
Not bad
But not good either. Keyboard player didn't measure up with the music either. The guy's voice was annoying, but there were a couple cool parts (the part with the strobe lights for one). Should have spent more time with it first.
Blah...
All around, a bland entry that tends to be more irritating than catchy. And why do I get the feeling you spent more time animating those monkies rather than trying to develop some humor for the cartoon?
Song poorly implemented, Terrible artistry...
Graphics were grade A terrible, if that makes any sense. A bunch of crappy tweens and poorly drawn characters.
Although a clever, funny movie could have been made from this, you just did not succeed in either of those areas. Style is 2 because you sort of ruined it's potential.
Sound was okay; the song is a bit odd but since it's not yours... Like I said, you could have made something of it, but you didn't.
Violence for the chicken being lit on fire, even if it is poorly animated (including the flames).
Not even the slightest bit funny.
Sorry, you just didn't satisfy this song. Your poorly developed flash skills make my eyes bleed!
