Reviews for "One Winged Angel Gameboy"

Masterful

Give me a list of who didn't like this and I'll... visit them... with a shotgun in my hands. This was the one to put the others to shame. A GB with all that(except the vocals)? Outstanding!

Didnt expect that

I like the touch you've added to this, its like a little diffrent than others.

Yes! Yes!

Putting aside that the gameboy cannot handle the voices (which is quite obvious), this whole thing would be bad-ass to hear on my GameBoy. Seriously, if FF7 was on GB, this would be on it.
Speaking of the vocals, how did you do it? I've heard there's a soundfont that has the voices recorded as the notes and whichever note you use plays one of the words/syllables. If you used this soundfont, I ask only how you found it. Dry ripping and cutting the vocals for my mix sucked, not to mention it was late and I couldn't fix it anymore. So, yeah. If you didn't use the soundfont, how did you get the vox?

Anyway, I give you a 10/10, 5/5, budd-eh. Keep 'em coming. Your other work is awesome, too.

Pretty damn good

An excellent tribute to the greatest game on the planet. There are a few ways to improve this, at least in my opinion, so let me skim over those:
One, try cleaning it all up, making everything a tad crisper.. especially the voices.
Two, I noticed a definite difference in the voljmes of the music versus the voices, so try to tone the voices back a bit, or the music up a bit.
Three, and this is the thing that bugged me the most, was that when the 'veni, veni, venias' was going, it stopped to let the 'glorioso, generosa' part go... but the original didn't do that, but rather overlapped them.
Four, try teaching those sopranos slightly better breath control :P
An excellent go at a legendary song, I hope you do more music like this in the near future. Please think about I and others have said, eh?

*Almost Good*

This was ALMOST cool. All was going well, until the vocal track started. Yes, the vocal track was decent, except for the fact that it didn't blend in with the rest of the song at all.

I'm sorry to say that it was painful. And I *am* sorry to say that, because I've enjoyed your other work a fair amount.

Let me know if you can get that Vocal track balanced in properly.
