Try this
Try not to detune your lead, if you do, just use 2 lead sounds. Make one not detuned and then the other one which is a little lower on the volume scale detuned. That way you can keep a clean lead and still have the detuned undertones. At least thats how I would do it.
Clean song just needs a few fixes.
