The way it is atm makes his upper leg look shorter than it actually is.

I won't hit ya on the lighting because upon further analysis of the drawing, I have determined that the lighting is intended to be that way, and that it was not a designing flaw.

It's got a pseudo retro feeling, like something out of those 1930s and 40s War posters. With the heroic looking soldier posing in a victorious way and whatnot. The coloring is what got me though. Very cool stuff man.
