Reviews for "A View of Crowds"

For good reason,
this was the first song I five star'd on the day I made my account.
Still up there with one of my all time favs. Still makes me feel like, a weird nostalgia. A song that always felt like it was from my past even on my first listen. <3

The grand piano always conplements rain sample really well, but all the other random sounds in the background somehow also goes really well with the sad atmosphere, I don't know how to feel when listening, but I like it very much.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Yeah, this was a study in using found sounds as textures and rhythms and stuff. Feels very nostalgic for me whenever I listen to it now. Still like the way this turned it even after all these years. Inspired heavily by two of my most favorite albums by the Japanese trio, Motoro Faam. Highly recommend you check out their second release, "...And Water Cycles". Some of the most beautiful stuff I've ever heard. Very impressive arrangements andsequencing.

I have a follow up track/remix/sequel/???:

Made many years after and on my latest album release.

Nice...

The fact that you had so much movement in this song kept me listening.

And better yet, the fact that I could still hear the main melody throughout all the movement.

You're good at what you do, so keep it up!

^.~

Thank you!
I'm glad you enjoy it. Its awesome to get this much response already. This is one of my favorites that i have constructed. Probably worked on this song longer than any of my other ones.

Unique!

Yes! I love this!

Such as relief from all the similar fast-beat techno stuff here. This actually has a really unique sound.

Keep it up!

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Good! I'm always trying for a unique sound. This is one of my favorites.

Thank you for your ears!
