Not too shabby :)
First off, in contrast to "Drunk_Skitzo", I thought that your movie was pretty good.
"its like you exchanged luigi with bowser." -- quote from Drunk_Skitzo.
Yeah dude, that's what he did. By doing that (instead of keeping Bowser as Bowser), he made his movie more ORIGINAL. It's original because it's different. Those images are SUPPOSED to come from the game, along with the backgrounds. Everything came from the game because it was a parody of the game. Get it? I'm not telling you that your opinion is wrong, but judging from your post, you don't seem to understand the movie. Parodies are supposed to look like the real thing, but incorporate humor and poke fun at the game.
Sorry, I hate reviewers that give low scores because they don't understand a movie.
Moving on...
1) Do something about the quality of your sprites. Hard to tell if you intended this, but Mario looks like his outer edges have been softened... you know, the black border is gone. If that's what you meant to do, then right on. Otherwise, I think you should stick to the actual game sprite. Also, the floor texture is blurry, like it turned into a JPG or something :(
2) Mario moves a bit slow. If you play the game, he moves a lot faster. If you slowed him down to stretch out the movie, perhaps you should add more movie :)
3) Good use of sound effects and music.
Good luck with this!
