Decent…
It's decent. Definitely not the author's funniest work. I'm not normally a big fan of the rap music genre, but I did really enjoy his Star Wars Gangsta Rap. This wasn't quite up to the standards set by that aforementioned piece. My biggest complaint was a relatively minor one--at one time, the protagonist sang (or rapped, whatever) "ya all". What the fuck?! I guess that it is just because I was born and raised in the South that this bothers me, but it is spelled either "y'all" or "ya'll" (the first being the dictionary entry while the second is generally how it is spelled in my part of the South [Georgia]). It is normally pronounced in one smooth, drawling syllable, with the seperation of syllables generally indistinct. I realize that the author's pronunciation was probably designed to rhyme, but I felt that it was my duty as an educated Southerner to correct this mistake. (Because, after all, if you're going to portray a stereotype, then you should stereotype him the right way.) Other than that little irksome detail, this Flash was well-done.
