...Shooting Orcs is fun! It's good to finally get to see a Warhammer shooter. The graphics are okay and it needs more shooting sounds, but my only real complaint is that when you die, you have to go waaaaayyyy back to the beginning. Very, very good for a first shooter, though.
P.S. Next time, make it with Space Marines. Because Space Marines are awsome. And so is any game featuring them.
i've developed quite a few fps techniques since i made this, so expect to see something new this year. i thought about doing a marine based game, but i didn't want to till i knew i could do it justice. Now that i can, well... wait and see

i really dont think its as bad as u say it is. i mean, i couldnt do better than that, well then again i suck at graphics, im a programmer. but thats not the point. it was fun, and cool story and the enemies were fun to kill :) my kind of game except that it was annoying how u gotta start ALL over when u lose and u never know when u suppose to shoot cus theres so much more watching than playing. 2 suggestions: 1. when its in cinema mode, make it widescreen like in a movie, so ppl know not to shoot. 2. maybe u should use that little damage program that NG provides for artists, that would make it more fun, and u wouldnt die right away
yeah, this is a good example of a good review! Okay, the sequel patched up a lot of the points you made, so i reccomend playing it, because it's vastly superior.

The graphics, I have to say, at the cutscenes were pretty nice, but they seemed a bit sketchy during some times.
The game didn't exactly provide a crosshair, and there was no such thing as ammo or reloads, which made the game pretty easy.
There also should have been a warning when some sudden events came, like the Leman Russ tank and the Ork aircraft, which got me killed very quickly the first time I tried. It got me a little excited though, which was good.
I also found it pretty agitating because there were no checkpoints or save points, so when I died, I had to restart from the begining.
Despite these flaws, it was a pretty good game.

i agree with you on this, the grapics n stuff isnt exactly the best ive ever seen. But if itis a first submission, it is pretty good and there are alot more first subs. that are alot worse than this.
