Reviews for "Catnip"

This is a freaking surprise

Thath's kimpossible's rival i like her and the cat too

Awesome work Joe!
Really neat and great colors <3

BizarroJoe responds:

Heh, I also noticed that!
As you may already noticed, most of my "Flood Fellows" contributions have been influenced not just by the topic given, but the thumbnail provided also. Being this time's topic "Black Cat", that left green as the main color to play with the rest of the picture. And I'm liking to make wicked skin tones for the girls lately, so I used green and... Bam. The girl turned suddenly into a Shego look-a-like.
Thank you very much for your sharp comment, Kreeze! So long!

Didn't see that coming

Good to see BizarroJoe supporting our cause. The pic is great of course, it is really interesting how you drew that cat. And it just looks as if the cat wants to get away. I like the frame and how you included our silly icon.

Is there anything I can say about the girl? Nothing that has not been said about your girls over and over again. Good job!

BizarroJoe responds:

I want to get the hang of adapting animals to fit into my style and introducing them into my submissions. Cats are domestic, flexible animals which fit nicely into the imagery of any "girly" artist. And they're beautiful to watch, too. I like cats. :3 They give plenty of room for an artist to toy with.
Probably, the animal I'd want most to get confident with now, is the horse.
Thanks for commenting, Luwe! (Luwe? I don't know if that's sounds right...)

wow

your style is very unique, i've never seen anything like it.
your forms look very organic and the flow of the image is incredible.
keep up the good work :D

BizarroJoe responds:

Oh, you're flattering me! I must reckon I try hard to make my work distinctive, but it's kinda a lost battle... I'd better try working in making my figures more functional and adaptable.
Wow, given the fact these lines are done with a mouse, it's a pride you can see those shapes as "organic"!
I really appreciate your kind words! Thank you very much!

"Bro..." yeah...no

For some reason or another, this is a really...heartfelt picture. I could feel the emotion emanating from the pic...kudos, yet again. I don't know what this "bro" guys talking about, but it seems he/she's asking you to change your style. If that is the case, I say hell no; this is evidence of you, and for you to change that, well, in this instance, you'd be changing yourself...that'd be bad, in this instance. lol, great work. CATNIP! ;P

BizarroJoe responds:

Thanks a lot for your kind words!
Still, it's good to hear all kind of opinions about my work. I know there are many people that just dislike my work or even depises me to death! But generally they just vote zero and leave. At least, MUZMUZMUZ tried to explain himself, so I can try to think about what can I improve on my work. It's not that bad.
Still, if they were all like him, I don't know if I'd be still trying... Heheh.

An Bizarro Joe's Art noveau

Zup! Joe
Man! the silhouettes of your female models are so awesome!, definitely your work is an obligated reference point for any artist who want to draw chicks with high level of sinthesis...

Mr joe, are you fammiliar with the work of alphonse mucha?

BizarroJoe responds:

Heey, Impkid!
My, you're flattering me...! You got it well, I have the goal of achieving a high level of abstraction in my style, yet remaining appealing and understandable... Still, I haven't reached that objective yet. But I'll keep on working on it...

... And of course I'm familiar with Muchá. I've got a folder with a gallery of his works, and other classic artists', in my HDD. This year was his 150th anniversary and I'd like to pay him a homage... I'll see if can get some time to do it.

¡Un abrazo muy fuerte, compañero! ¡Hasta la próxima!
