My guess as to what this picture is of is an old homeless man who is looking at a picture of a lost loved one. They have died years ago, but he still remains here, alone and nostalgic. He looks at the picture everyday and wishes that he was still with his lost love.

When i think about what it means to me, i think of a man who may have been successful and had the world at his fingertips, and then one day he lost it all, and the note being directions for a meeting with the love of his life and he's still waiting. Or just one of the two. lol
