Excellent

Great song, loved every aspect of it. Good beat, also reminded me alot of that '80s style game music, quite retro. My favourite part was by far the bubbles. A very subtle touch but it made the song. Nice piano work too. Just overall a good song.

Ah, glacial spring water.

What an amazing tune. I'm really in the mind of the beginnings of a mighty river with this piece, as if the tiniest drops of water will somehow form one of the world's major waterways, tracing a patch through the countryside into the vast oceans.

The length is truly epic, possibly reminiscent of how slowly snow actually melts, unless you are an 8 year old boy, because let's face it, the snow is always gone far too quickly when you're 8 :P

How can this be improved upon? That's always a tough question when I'm leaving critiques for you, as there really isn't much you can do, save maybe putting in some sort of phase of calm in the middle - possibly the watter coming to rest in an inland lake, before being rained down to continue its journey?

Why am I not surprised?

SBB, the master of ambience himself, cranking out another top-notch professional, "glossy" track.

The pads are nice, but what gives them that "touch", that last bit that pushes them over the edge, is the water dripping. The high-pitched lead is okay, the writing for it is awesome. However, the sound itself just doesn't have the same kind of gloss on it all of the others do... how much reverb did you put on the saw? Maybe a little delay would help, or some automated filtering. I think the main problem with it is that it clashes with the white noise effect you've got going there.

The piano is nice (I must know where you got those samples), the drums are perfect for their part. The bells and delayed synth that you've got started around 3:00/3:15 work really, really well. They should be brought out more throughout the song.

The song is masterful, the wind effect is nice.

There is just one major nagging problem- the saw does not meld well with the white noise- either you put it in intentionally or the saw's creating some white noise of its own- but all the same, it seriously is grating.

There! A full-length review breakdown for you! Hell, I think it's even worth a McGreatBurger.

Mmmmm.....

Is this relaxing or what?! Man, i can really imagine birds and melting ice when i hear this... Awesome work. First off, the intro was nice, not too fast, but not too slow either. And at the transition at 01:08, where the synth started playing, i was like WOAH! That part was amazing. Another fantastic thing is the way you mixed both pads, synths, that has those electronic sounds, with the piano, acoustic drums and the occasional water dripping. If there's one thing in this song that i love, it's the drums. Oh man, they're great.

Ending is good too, it fades away from that hectic last part very nicely. Loops great. This could be in one of those documentarys about the environment, where they film Antarctica melting away...

You should be proud of this song, dude! %/% and )/!=

Nice Tune

The opening to this sounds very good, soft and quiet then building up into a very good beat, the beat itself sounds very good to, very well played and put together from the sound of it. Though there is one sound that seems a little out of place through a main bit of it, taking away most of the background sounds. But still sounds good and does kind of work.

It has a very decent length so it goes on for quite a while, doesn't sound too repetative because about half way it sounds to introduce a new sound into this which sounds very nice. Then it calms down again, which also sound good. Then builds up a little again, that sounds pretty nice.

Overall, I can't really find anything majorly wrong with this other than a few sounds I'm not personally too keen on. The fading out at the end here also sounds very nice, so good work overall.

5/5
