alright heres my critique
the good critique:
the scene is clean cut and simple, the lighting and camera angle is great. also the the blockiness of the world feels original sort of like an 8 bit world but more physical.
the bad critique:
Honestly, its lacking spacious detail, there's no true feeling of the game in there other than this simple picture and the action of him in mid air doesn't feel like anything special. also there are shadows but they lack alot in that department as they are very unoticeable but that's because of the angle, but i wont take off points for that. also the sky is bland though it has transition of light blue to a dark atmospheric shade, it needs something. One final thing, its all blocks, nothing to hard, any 3D animator could make this with ease and then some.
i really wonder why this got front page...is it because its for the calendar contest, who knows?
i dont mean to be a bastard if im coming off like one but this really needs much more improvement before this becomes front page worthy.
other than that i will give a better score once this is resubmitted with improvements.
