Good style. Don't see this kind of movie on Newgrounds often. That female ghost was pretty freaky.

Not bad at all
I really liked the atmosphere. But everything else was "broken".
The pacing was pretty bad, it was supposed to be slow at first to establish the premesis and characters but it was too slow, for when it got into the action there was very little; And then it ended.
The art, I believe was ugly. What you can try is to use less detail to characters but more shadows. Not characteristic shadows on the people (like in comics) but the surrounding shadows, due to lack of lighting. Like using real lights when filming a movie.
The idea is interesting and I can't wait for the second episode. Or the third!
Keep up the good work, and remember to just fix the art a bit, if you can. And if you understand what I mean.

Good, good
Overall, I like it. Its very dark and gloomy, and very well drawn and rendered. Over all, excelent movie. The only problem I had with was that it was kind of chunky, and it dragged. The sound bites were good, but weren't glued down right. The people moved kind of funky, but even the characters in the Final Fantasy movie were somewhat stiff. The story line dragged and dragged, seeming to scream, wake me when its done. Other then that, good job.

But thee voices could use abit more spice + you could make our heros mouth move with what he is saying you know.
But in all a great job. =)
