If i were anal...

I'd take away a star for quality... but i'm not and this song is AWESOME!!! Its catchy but also rough around the edges, which just makes the sound complete. Two thumbs up!

By Far One of The Best I've Ever Heard Here

This is incredible. It really makes me think of the free spirit of teenage summers, where you have no real plans, but you're not bored, because there is still so much to do and see that you probably never will.

The melody is really well done; seems to me like an ideal mix of Punk and pure Rock. Being a fan of both, that's a good thing. The Drums are another awesome part, too. Starting out with a classic Punk beat really gets the listener's attention, and draws them into the heart of the song, and the feeling of a kind of urgent good time, with so much to experience, but so little time.

I really like how you take the double bass kick from Heavy Metal, and are able to use it in addition to the guitar to create a fast-paced, up-beat song with it, straying from the kick's traditional role in metal of being a dark, raging, wall-of-noise kind of thing, to what it is here: a motivator.

Now, the bass is something. You can't always hear it consciously all the time throughout the song, but you can still feel it's there, under and around the other instruments, helping bridge the gap between both the drums and the guitar to make the song complete.

The vocals are absolutely amazing. Normally I'm not a fan of screaming or growling at all, but here it's done really well. Instead of being just a noise filler, like I've heard in so many other songs before, especially in major screamo bands (which I really hate, by the way), It it's well placed, and feels thought out in its pitch and intensity. It actually seems to add some emotion to the song, rather than take away from it with a bunch of noise trying to pass for vocals.

The lyrics themselves capture the essence of the meaning you're trying to convey perfectly. It's as if you've got this one night to do whatever you want with, whether it's hanging out with friends, going street racing or checking out the club scene, but in the back of your mind, you know it won't last, that the night will eventually be over, and that you're not quite ready for that to happen yet, but there's nothing you can do about it.

All in all, this is a great song, really tightly meshed to create a truly powerful message that I think we all can relate to.

Nine!

I like this so much. It's downloaded and on my mp3 player. But what makes it 9 and not 10? -I missed some time along the song to "think" of it and get a opinion. I paused it and thought it trough afterwards, but that's my problem. I'm not quite into any kind of screaming (or growling), but it didn't destroy my impression. NINE!
:D

Wow...

Are you serious? You sound awesome, why aren't you on my CD in my car yet? Hurry! gogogogo lol. Sounds just great.

=)
