Just out of curiosity, how "retro" are we talking here? 'Cuz this style doesn't remind me of that of any famous anime artist from the past...
It DOES, however, remind me of OEL artist Katy Coope, whose art I don't particularly care for, but that's just my opinion.
9/10 for nostalgia.

Bold n stylish
nice style of straight 3 tone shading... very chunky and stylish not going to detail more of a cartoon / anime feel... love the simplisity of this piece... theres a few really minior areas that could have been touched up but apart from that and the lack of background (even a simple colour would have been a nice touch) this is fab... like to see more work like this...
