woot, the 1st

Psh, no love for this track so far, and it's way on the bottom of the AP. Either people are getting too lazy nowadays, or they are threatened by this masterpiece that NGs has to offer =P I'm certainly in both categories, but what the hell, I'll take a stab at reviewing.

I didn't mention this on MSN, but this probably is the most versatile Trance Track NGs might ever see. Glad you fixed that "Crackling" you mentioned. Really makes the breakdown a little bit fresher.

I don't know what to type, ahhhhh. You always seem to spot out a lot of flaws and background shit in my songs, that it's hard for me even to complain to this song.

I guess all I can say is that it is an excellent track and I can't wait to hear more!

Versatile? Well, that might be one reason it got the name Contrast. ;D I actually didn't fix all of the crackling, but apparently you didn't hear any, which means I fixed enough of it, I suppose.

Not really. I just pick apart each aspect of the song - synths and composition, drums and FX, mixing and EQing, progression and pacing, etc. and write a paragraph or so on each one. :P

Glad you liked it so much! It'll probably be a while before I attempt this style again (if lots of people tell me to make more like it, though, I might change my mind :P) but I've definitely got a few other awesome concepts and it's simply a matter of choosing, and then putting the effort into it. ;D

Man....

All really cool rythms and beats stuck together. I Like the background harmony that's repeating. What do you mean you can't see your songs in clubs? They are amazing. For some reason, no matter your song, I hear some form of my favorite games in them. If ur arrogant you have every right to be, u pwn! jst don't be snobbish >=( ciao

I don't think I'm being arrogant or snobbish, but rather, realistic. :P There are tons of flaws in this song and maybe if I could make a song I'm fully satisfied with, which would be possible though very difficult, it would be club-worthy. This one, I'm not fully either way - I can see why people would want to play it in clubs and can appreciate their reasoning (and would be quite flattered, rather than annoyed or offended, if they did :D), but at the same time I'd rather people wait until I can make songs that fully live up to my expectations before playing them in clubs and stuff. ;)

Woah...

Thats amazing. You make more songs like this and you could make millions on CDs. This stuff blows my mind. Amazing for raves, dances, or just being bored. Keep up the amazing work man!
