It's sort of uplifting, and I can just imagine a detective realizing in flashbacks who the killer was. Somebody the detective saw everyday, but never realized who he was until now.

I definitely thought of the anime big o.
I'm a bit past animes but i remember watching a bunch back then. Big O was a mystery thriller/action kind of anime. This music fits it prefectly for some parts.

Yesh very true it would be spot on in that situation I can see it in wire in the blood or something.
It would also fit in stupidly well in a dark situation in a movie.
