Reviews for "The Story of Beowulf"

a NEW genre for Newgrounds?

Damn, what a clever idea. If all of the stories in literature books were turned into flash cartoons we could burn all of our books and study at newgrounds.com! That might be a little extreme, but still an excellent job on your flash cartoon.

The animation wasn't even close to professional, you studdered a little bit when you were doin the dialogue and narration, but it's still quite well considering you did this for a school project for educational purposes and not to blow us away with your mad flash skills.

Good job, and be sure to send in more material, because I hate reading literature ;)

Question

This is very odd, I have to read this book for my Heroes and Villians class. Can you help me with it? I Because I haven't read it yet, can you help me with it? Please let me know, thanks!

BOE responds:

I guess...but this cartoon was made for a friend's english project. She just gave me the basic outline for what she wanted: "Okay Chris. I want you to make a cartoon with Beowulf doing things. Is that okay?" For all the "in between" stuff, I went to www.sparknotes.com

Not the best, nor the worst

NumberIII is right. You've got a WHOLE load of the story incorrect. He's mentioned everything (I think) except for the fact that the dragon had 3 heads. One spat fire, another water and the third head air. I think...

Any way, not a bad one. Nor a brillient animation... But still qutie good. Keep on rockin' :-)

actually helped me pass the english final

never read the book, although assigned, but i got a decent score thanks to a mixture of this and a trip to sparknotes

Nice Job!

Very nice! Not fantastic animation, but not overly bad either, and a good sense of humor in it as well. I liked it, although I think my english teacher (Who's actually TRANSLATED the entire thing from old english, life draining (and it shows)) would have several simultaneous heart attacks from watching this. Good work!
