Reviews for "Spot the Difference"

wtf

were u smoking when u made this game the graphics are crap thers no music and theres no way to cheat i suggest u get off the good weed and make a quality game (ie hentai violence and drugs)

Bezman responds:

No way to cheat is a bad thing?

Fuck off, hornyboy. Go have sex.

Interesting game

It was an interesting game, however it wasn't very good. The graphics were a little bit sloppy and it looked like you rushed them. Make better graphics. Put in sound. Even crappy music is better than no music (if it's to crappy then maybe not). It was somewhat fun, could have made it a little bit easier, but not much. There is a lot to improve on. The concept itself isn't bad. Overall, it's an average game.

Bezman responds:

You're quite perceptive. I did indeed rush the gfx. I tended not to put in sound for reasons of filesize/my ease. I realise now that was a mistake.

Maybe when I finish my HND I'll do another to show I can actually draw now.

Thanks for the fairly thorough review.

Stay funky!

Alright

The graphics in this flash weren't too good. No sound in this flash, but then, this flash was still fine without sound. This game, it was challenging spotting 5 differences in each picture. That was fun to find the differences. I also can see that the Tab button won't help me finding the differences easily. Good job on countering the cheat there. Nice work.

Bezman responds:

Glad you liked it.

Though I'm kinda hurt you'd say the graphics weren't too good, without expanding upon that. You didn't even like level 5? (The one with the smudged graphics.)

Ah well. I suppose I should be pleased I'm continuing to improve...

A great, fun to play game

Well done that was a damn great game, don't know if it was just me or not but I found the first level the hardest (which seemed a bit weird as it was the first one) and was the only one I didn't complete in time, maybe that should have been a bit further in, another thing which was weird was the fact that on the arty level with the face and the eye i found 6 differences, one of them wasn't a registered difference and nothing happened when I clicked on it but the fact is it definitely was still there(ask me about it on MSN before you reply to this review), a nicer idea(like you said in your authors comments(which I read after thinking this)) would have been to ahve had randomized differences, so that if you did make a mistake and had to start again, you didn't already know where they are(don't know if that's actually possible though without the differences being too obvious), also you said you were going to add sound in a future version, if you mean background music it sounds like a good idea and it would be an improvement, but if you mean sound effects for when you spot a difference it seems like a bad idea as it would be irritating.

Sorry for mentioning so much bad stuff, it probably sounded like I didn't like this game(I did I thought it was great and I'll be voting 4), I was merely just pointing out areas in which this could have been improved.

Anyway great job, keep up the good work.

Stay fizzy.

Bezman responds:

Thanks again for another useful review.

Mentioning bad stuff is always helpful. The negative points help me far more in improving.

Difficulty - play-testing a game like this is difficult, seeing as once you know where the differences are, you can't really guage the difficulty again.

6th difference - I call shenanigans. Seriously though, next time, I'll use a mask or something to ensure something like that doesn't slip through again.

Music was just an idea. I'd try stuff and see how it seemed. I like music to respond to the game in some way. Otherwise, you might as well just let folk pick their own tunes.

Silly me

You DID make a sequal :P

Anyways, just as good as the orginial. Altough now I'm starting to think BG music would be nice. Nice job.

Bezman responds:

Yeah, maybe it would... and I've a few other ideas of what would make it a lot better. Not enough time for all the creations I want to realise though...

Glad you enjoyed it anyway. :)
